First published in 1929, this is a delightful account of eating and drinking in Scotland through the ages, with definitive recipes for all the old national dishes. Recipes include Skink (an old Scots stew soup), Crappit Heids (something to do with haddock heads), jellied sheep's head, Glasgow tripe, and Sea Tangle (seaweed).
Condition
This copy is in very good condition. Some light dusting to the page edges and a previous owner's name to the ffep, but otherwise with clean pages and secure binding.
