A collection of tips and recipes for cooking vegetables, with chapters on sauces that may served with vegetables; roots, tubers and bulbs; stalks and stems; etc and on unusual vegetables (bamboo shoots, udo, Peruvian parsnip, anyu, taro, cajan, towel gourd, canna, cassava or manioc, Chinese radish, and palm hearts). Illustrated with a frontispiece of the author, and smaller drawings within the text.
Condition
Fair. Whilst the blue cloth is rubbed and bumped quite heavily to the corners, edges and spine ends, the contents are in good readable condition.
