This is a collection of books and pamphlets on apiary, bee-keeping, hives, honey etc.
Books:
1. Maurice Maeterlinck, The Life of the Bee (George Allen & Unwin, 1912). Reprint, pocket edition. A reading copy with taped repairs to hinges and light rubbing to cloth.
2. M M Hooper, Common Sense Beekeeping (Link House, London, undated, probably late 1940s/1950s). A scruffy copy, good for reference.
3. G A Carter, Bees and Honey (Bee Craft, 1948). Covers faded but contents in strong readable condition.
4. Alexander Deans, A Bee Keepers Encyclopaedia (A Right Way Book, 1949). Covers dulled but contents very good.
5. Harald Doering, A Bee is Born (Sterling, New York, 1962). Fair, a reading copy in a very scruffy wrapper.
6. L E Snelgrove, Swarming, Its Control and Prevention (Published by the Author, 1963). A good, solid copy.

2. Condition
All items are showing some wear including foxing and creasing. Some are in very good condition, others have been well-read and show considerable use. The images should give an overall impression, but essentially this is a good reference collection.
