From the blurb, "With Gigins Court bruce Graeme has created a mystery novel which sets for him a new standard of dramatic interest and literary excellence. In it we are introduced to Giginis Court, a little world all on its own in the middle of Southwark; and there we meet a number of characters who are so vividly portrayed that it is difficult to conceive that they are not actually living—as possibly they may be. Yet, despite the author's deft handling of the literary and psychological aspects of this novel, we are never permitted to lose sight of the fact that there is a mystery. In this book the mystery is—what is the mystery of Gigins Court?"

Bruce Graeme was one of a number of pseudonyms for Graham Montague Jeffries, a prolific crime and thriller writer.

Condition

A reading copy. The book is a little scruffy and with foxing to the page edges and margins. The dustwrapper is chipped to all edges with publisher's price-sticker to the spine.
