The book looks at dispersal by wind (with and without special adaptations); dispersal by water (rain-wash, river, flood, sea etc); dispersal by animals; dispersal by birds, by fish and reptiles; dispersal by simple adhesion; by special modification; by adhesion due to viscid exudation; by human agency; by mechanical dispersal; with notes on various islands, and dispersal of orders and genera.
Condition
The spine has heavy mottled fading and a strip of fading to the rear joint but the boards are in good order. Light spotting to the page edges. The contents are in very good order as well, with clean pages and secure binding, this copy remains in strong readable condition.
