Conrad had died in August 1924, and the preface to this is dated October 1924. The book is an account of Ford’s collaboration and friendship with Joseph Conrad over the decades before the death of the latter. It is also a manifesto for Ford’s ideas on literary impressionism, and it attempts to mark out places where, according to Ford, he and Conrad agreed and disagreed about writing.

Condition

A good reading copy. there is some light fading to the fore-edge of the boards, and spotted browning to the cloth spine. The contents are in strong readable condition, with light scattered foxing.
