The Thoreau Calendar
A Quotation from the Works of Henry David Thoreau for Every Day in the Year (1912)
First edition. Paperback, with yapp edges, printed design to front. 17 × 11.5cm, 96pp.
A charming small book with a line or two from Thoreau's writings for each day of the year. For example: January 1st "What is the use of going right over the old track again?... You must make tracks into the unknown", and July 11th "The laws of Nature are science; but in an enlightened moment; they are morality and modes of divine life".
Good condition for age, but with some wear. The paper covers are creased to the edges and a little bashed to the spine. The contents are in strong readable condition, with light tanning.
