This is a unique example of folded book art, where the artist has has taken a hardback first edition copy of The Lives of John Lennon by Albert Goldman (Bantam Press, London, 1988) and folded the text to create the word 'Imagine' which is displayed by the pages' fore-edge. It is a remarkably intricate piece of work.

It was created by Sarah Leighton of Landau House, and has her stamp to the pages. She has also reinforced the books corners under the dustwrapper.

Condition

The book is in good condition, some tanning to the page edges, and a little corner creasing to the unused pages. The dustwrapper is bumped and rubbed. Due to the page folding, the book no longer closes and is meant as a display item—but a rather stunning one!
