Illustrated with twenty plates and with two engraved titles re-engraved, this work, originally published in 1682 and attributed to Aphra Behn, is a piece of Restoration wit "relating all the delights and contentments that are mask'd under the bands of matrimony", with the second part (1683) continuing in "relating the further delights and contentments that ly mask'd under the bands of wedlock."

Condition

This copy is in good solid condition, but with tanning to the cloth binding, and some tanning to the page edges.
