This profusely illustrated book documents the output of the Underground Press Syndicate (UPS)—a global network founded in 1966 that allowed member publications to freely reprint each other’s articles, illustrations, and comic strips. This syndicate enabled radical grassroots ideas, graphics, and news to bypass mainstream editorial gatekeepers and spread rapidly across North America, Europe, and beyond.

Through 200 curated "trips" (individual features, articles, covers, and graphic spreads), the book captures the unfiltered voice of a generation questioning politics, war, societal norms, and culture.

Condition

Good condition, but with a faded and creased spine, and a faint waterstain to the pages' bottom edge at the base of the spine.
