Written by a former Imperial Russian ballerina and co-founder of the UK's first ballet boarding school, the book acts as both a instruction manual for teachers and a guide for dedicated dancers. It details the famous Russian training methodology developed alongside her late husband, Nicolas Legat and opens with a promotional poem written specifically for the book by the then-Poet Laureate, John Masefield.

Condition

The book is in good solid condition but with some spotted foxing to the page edges. The dustwrapper is tanned, with some spotted foxing and light edgewear but remains good.
