The third volume in Sienkiewicz's Trilogy (after 'With Fire and Sword' and 'The Deluge'), is set in the 17th century on the eastern borderlands of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth during the escalation of the conflict with the Ottoman Empire.
Condition
A good reading copy. There is some discoloration to the red cloth and tanning to the endpapers but the main body of text remains in strong readable condition. Previous owner's name to ffep.
