Neatly taped in at the beginning is a handwritten poem by Amy Key Clarke, titled "Y-Brasil", initialled AKC and dated Nov 1916. Amy Key Clarke was a mystical poet, writer and teacher at Cheltenham Ladies College, perhaps best known for her poem "Vision of Him" which is included in this anthology.
An anthology of poetry from the students of Cambridge during the first thirteen years of the twentieth century. The anthology includes early works by Rupert Brooke (four poems including The Old Vicarage, Grantchester), Aleister Crowley (ten poems, including The Goad, and The Rosicrucian), as well as Frances Cornford, James Elroy Flecker, Harold Monro, and J C Squire.
Condition
A good copy. There is light spotted foxing throughout the book, and the binding pulled a little at page 1 but remaining in strong readable condition.
