Cry Treason was the first book in Iris Morley historical trilogy. The novel centres on the late 17th century, specifically following the life and career of James Scott, Duke of Monmouth (the illegitimate son of King Charles II), and his rebellion against King James II, along with the broader political manoeuvring leading up to William III.
Condition
A good readable copy. There is some marking and bumping to the boards, and a little dusting to the page edges but the contents are clean and the binding secure.
