A biographical study of Katherine Willoughby, 4th Duchess of Suffolk (1519–1580). The book follows Katherine’s life through the reigns of Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary I, and Elizabeth I. As a wealthy heiress, she became the fourth wife of Charles Brandon, 1st Duke of Suffolk (following the death of Mary Tudor). Later, as a fierce adherent of the Protestant Reformation and friend of Catherine Parr, she and her second husband, Richard Bertie, were forced into exile on the Continent during the reign of Mary I to escape religious persecution.

Condition

Good condition. There is light bumping to the boards, and light tanning to the pages. There is a small dent in the pages' top edge, and a little pulling to the inner binding at the family tree.
