Printing Details

Reprint. Hardback, bound in the original blue cloth with gilt decoration to spine and blindstamped to upper board with design by Margaret Althea Gyles. Top edge dyed blue. 20.5 × 14cm, xv + 314pp.

A collection of W B Yeats's poetry from The Wanderings of Oisin (Usheen), Crossways, The Countess Cathleen, The Rose, and The Land of Heart's Desire. It was first published in 1895 as a single volume and here reprinted.

Condition

A very good copy. The gilt decoration is crisp to the spine, and there is minimal bumping to the boards. There is spotted foxing to the fore-edge and a school prize label (Christ's Hospital) to the front pastedown but the main body of text is good and clean. The inner binding remains secure.
