Two titles from Brian Aldiss published by the Science Fiction Book Club. Greybeard is set in a haunting, childless world devastated by universal human sterility, and follows an aging couple navigating a declining civilization as nature reclaims the Earth. The Saliva Tree is a collection of stories, the titular story being set in late-Victorian rural East Anglia, the story follows Gregory Rolles, a young, scientifically-minded gentleman and utopian socialist who actively corresponds with a young H.G. Wells.
Condition
Both books are reading copies. The pages are a bit tanned, light marking to the wrapper's edges and a bit of a tobacco odour but otherwise perfectly readable.
As of July 2026, books remain duty-free. The price of the book incurs no extra US import fees.
