This is an original fashion colour illustration, showing a bridal dress. It dates from the late thirties. The paper measures approx. 23 × 34 cm, and is in pencil and watercolour / gouache, with the background coloured a subtle pink.
It shows a bias-cut dress, it features a cross-draped bodice with long sleeves. The bride wears a long tulle or lace-edged veil secured by a pearl or orange-blossom tiara/headband secured to her rolled updo. She carries a bouquet of calla lilies. The artist has pencil sketched the back of the dress to the right.

This artwork is in very good condition, with a few specks of foxing along the bottom edge.
