The tales were translated by Crane's sister Lucy and include classics such as The Sleeping Beauty, The Goose Girl, Rapunzel, Hansel and Grethel, Little Red-Cap, Tom Thumb and Snow-White.
Illustrated with eleven full-page plates (frontispiece and ten within the text), title page, and over one hundred individual head- and tailpieces.
Condition
This is a very good copy. There is light comprehensive foxing throughout but the book remaining in strong readable condition. The green cloth has minimal bumping to the corners, though it has lost a small area of sheen to the rear board (very minor). The book has two inoffensive pencil names to the prelims. Otherwise, a highly attractive copy.
Books are currently zero-rated for duty (as of June 2026), so the price shown is the price you pay.
