Full title: The Adventures of Tom Bombadil and other verses from The Red Book

One of the most intriguing characters in The Lord of the Rings, the amusing and enigmatic Tom Bombadil, also appears in verses said to have been written by Hobbits and preserved in the ‘Red Book’ with stories of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins and their friends. The Adventures of Tom Bombadil collects these and other poems (there are sixteen in all), mainly concerned with legends and jests of the Shire at the end of the Third Age. Delightfully illustrated by Pauline Baynes, both in colour and black and white. The dustwrapper artwork is repeated to the boards.

Condition

The book itself is in strong readable condition, some light bumping to the spine ends and a little tanning to the page edges. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown. The dustwrapper is creased and a little chipped to the top edge with some light loss to the spine ends but has not been price-clipped.
