Tolkien's comic medieval fable (first published in 1937) describes the encounters between Farmer Giles and a wily dragon named Chrysophylax, and how Giles manages to use these to rise from humble beginnings to rival the king of the land.
Condition
The book itself is in strong readable condition, with some spotting and tanning to the page edges. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown. The dustwrapper is heavily tanned to the rear joint but has not been price-clipped.
