A wonderfully huge map on the visible Moon printed at the height of the race to land a spaceship there, with detailed named geographical features, printed in colour. There are instructions on where to mark the landing of the forthcoming American's Apollo 11 would land with a circle, or an asterisk on where the Russians would land if they got there first. Circling the moon are the months of 1969 with a chart for what phase of the Moon it will be.
Condition
This map is in very good condition, with one small closed tear to the bottom edge and another very small tear to the left hand side. Slight tanning to the folds but otherwise a very good survival.
