Our Town is set in the fictional New Hampshire town of Grover's Corners and follows the lives of two neighbours. The Skin of our Teeth is a satirical and absurdist drama following the Antrobus family of New Jersey. The Matchmaker is a farce set in the 1880s where crotchety widower Horace Vangelder wants to remarry and hires matchmaker Dolly Levi who secretly plans to marry him herself. It was the basis of the film Hello Dolly!

This was a review copy with the loose slip at the front of the book as well as the bookplate and ownership initials of Ivor Samuels.
