First edition, first printing. Hardback, bound in the original salmon cloth with gilt titling to spine and gilt decoration to upper board. Top edge gilt. 19.5 × 12.5cm, 178pp.
"The House at Pooh Corner" is the second of only two storybooks written by A.A. Milne about Winnie-the-Pooh, the most famous bear in the world. In its pages, the reader is reunited with Pooh, Christopher Robin and all the familiar characters from "Hundred Acre Wood". Join the friends as they build a house for Eeyore, invent the noble game of Poohsticks and investigate the knotty question of what Tiggers like to eat.
Condition
There is sun-fading to the spine but otherwise this copy remains in very good condition. There is minimal bumping to the spine ends and corners, and the book is free from inscription. There is tanning to the endpapers as usual and a very little spotted foxing to the page edges, but the main body of text is in good clean condition, and the inner binding is very secure.
Books are currently zero-rated for duty (as of April 2026), so the price shown is the price you pay.
