Illustrated with 12 photographs by the author, this book first details the boats, locks, the engine etc, provisions, expenses, and so on before setting off on cruises from Derby to Llangollen and Derby to Oxford (on the Ellesmere and Oxford Canals respectively) in the peaceful days before the Great War.

Condition

A good copy. There is some fading to the spine and the book lacks the ffep, but otherwise remaining in strong readable condition.
