Anstey's classic Georgian satire, first published in 1766, which describes in verse the Blunderhead family as they navigate the fashionable social rituals of Bath. This copy with the full complement of engraved title page, frontispiece and ten plates by Francis Eginton.
Condition
Good condition. There is slight loss to the leather at the head of the spine, along with scuffing to the joints and corners. The inner binding is a little strained at the ffep but secure enough. The inner binding otherwise secure, the pages in good readable condition but tanned.
