A detailed illustrated historical account of the independent British airline Air Ferry, which operated out of Manston Airport in Kent during the 1960s during the twilight of the piston-engined aircraft before jet engines took over. It chronicles the rise and fall of Air Ferry Limited, from its founding by Wing Commander Hugh Kennard in 1962 to its eventual closure and provides technical details and photographs of the "propliners" that defined the fleet, most notably the Douglas DC-4, Douglas DC-6, and the Vickers Viking.
Condition
The book is in good plus condition, there is a very slight lean to the spine and some spotted foxing to the top edge but otherwise remaining in strong readable condition.
