Oswald Partridge Milne was a distinguished British architect and this title was designed as an educational toy book. It contains six sheets of gummed images, all the size of an average matchbox and featuring familiar sites in a town: bank, market hall, guild house, church, vicarage, railway station, hotel, shops. The idea being you would cut out the small colour images, stick them to the side of a matchbox and create your own town.
This is a rare title in any condition, but particularly so in this case as the book is complete and unused.
Condition
Very good condition. As mentioned, it is complete and none of the images have been used. There is a little age-related toning to the pages.
Books are currently zero-rated for duty (as of January 2026), so the price shown is the price you pay.
