This issue was Irene de Castillejo's own copy, with her handwritten note to the front cover. She is a contributor and was on the editorial board. She was an author and Jungian analyst. Born in 1885, she married Spanish jurist and professor Jose Castillejo but had to flee Madrid at the start of the Spanish Civil War. In 1945, after living in London, she studied Jungian psychology in Zurich working with Carl Gustav Jung, Emma Jung and Toni Wolff, then returning to London to found a psychotherapy practice specialising in the role of women in the world of today. She is perhaps best known for her book 'Knowing Woman: A Feminine Psychology', published posthumously in 1973.
The second issue of Harvest, the journal of the London wing of The Analytical Psychology Club.
