Printing Details
This is the information pack for delegates who attended the First International Conference of the Lewis Carroll Society in Oxford in July 1989.
This pack was issued to Dr Richard Swift, who attended the conference with Professor Morton N Cohen, the noted Lewis Carroll scholar.
It consists of a plastic wallet, with timetable of events (film night, walks, talks etc), room reservation at Christ Church, the summer edition of Stuff and Nonsense (the newsletter of the Daresbury Lewis Carroll Society), the newsletter of the alliance of literary societies, a slim pamphlet on Alice's Adventures at Nuneham, a map of Christ Church Cathedral, and an unused but folded plastic bag for Alice's Shop (Lewis Carroll's Old Sheep Shop) at 83 St Aldates, Oxford.
Condition
Fair condition. The sealed edges of the plastic wallet are starting to perish, and the material contained has been taken in and out to read, but nevertheless, a nice souvenir of the first conference.
Books are currently zero-rated for duty, so the price shown is the price you pay.
