This copy was owned by British geophysicist Herbert Huppert, with his bookplate to the ffep.

Based, in part, on notes left by Harry Bateman Late Professor of Mathematics, Theoretical Physics, and Aeronautics at the California Institute of Technology and compiled by the Staff of the Bateman Manuscript Project. This book contains a detailed listing of Fourier, Laplace and Mellin transforms.

Condition

Whilst the book remains in strong readable condition, there is some discoloration to the boards where a taped covering has been removed, and Huppert's bookplate was obscured by a sticker. This has been removed but left some damage to the paper either side of the bookplate and some scarring and discoloration to the actual bookplate.
