A collection of English nursery tales (Jack the Giant-Killer, The Princess of Canterbury etc), and Sagas (including historical and local, giants, fairies, the Devil and other goblins, witchcraft, ghosts) and Drolls. Illustrated with twelve black and white plates by C E Brock.

Condition

Fair condition only, but remaining readable. The cloth binding is very grubby with taped reinforcement to the corners, the pages tanned throughout, and some pencil annotation to the index. The inner binding is holding though there is a little movement. A good reference copy.
