A collection of the works of Belgian poet and one of the founders of the school of Symbolism, Emile Verhaeren.
Volume One: 358pp. Les Campagnes Hallucinees, Les Villes Tentaculaires, Les Douze Mois, and Les Visages de la Vie.
Volume Two: 350pp. Les Soirs, Les Debacles, Les Flambeaux Noirs, Les Apparus dans mes Chemins, Les Villages Illusories, and Les Vignes de ma Muraille.
Volume Three: 254pp. Les Flamandes, Les Moines, and Les Bords de la Route.
Volume Four: 238pp. Les Bles Mouvants, Quelques Chansons du Village, and Petites Legendes.
Condition
This set is in fair condition only. The leather has some heavily darkened areas, with rubbing to the joints and edges. The text remains in good readable condition, but there is some movement to the inner binding. Perfectly readable but a bit battered.
