There is also classification: lions with manes, lions inspired by stone lion, tigerlike and leopardlike lions, lion and sun, lion in a hunting ground, lion and lioness etc, and finally an explanation of the structural characteristics of the rugs. Illustrated throughout, mostly in black and white but with a few plates in colour.
