Great War poetry by Sir Edward Adolphe Sinauer De Stein who served with the King's Royal Rifle Corps throughout the war. The poems were written in the trenches. The book is in two sections. First Poets in Picardy which imagines verse by famous poets in a war setting (eg by Private Wordsworth, a Greek tragedy written in the trenches, or "Sergeant Swinburne gets Shell Shock"), the second section of De Stein's war poetry under his own name.
Condition
A good reading copy. There is wear and marking to the covers, and a little tanning to the pages but remaining in strong readable condition.
