Stratton's book here applies the principles of social psychology to international relations, arguing that nations, like individuals, have a "national character" and can be motivated by desires, emotions, and will. The work suggested that nations wage war for social and political advantages and explored ideas such as penalizing nations for the "fruits of war" and using international enforcement to prevent it.

A good copy. There is some marking to the boards and a very slight forward lean to the spine but otherwise remaining in strong readable condition.
