First published in 1857, Baudelaire's Fleurs de Mal was an important and influential book in the symbolist and modernist movements. In this collection, Baudelaire sustains an exploration of sin, suffering, love, sexual desire, memory, beauty, the city, and the fundamental human impulse towards the new and the unknown. It also includes his "Le Vin", "Poemes Ajoutes dans L'Editions Definitive", "Poemes Provenant des Epaves", etc, whilst the appendix contains fragments etc.
Condition
The leather is heavily sunned with some small amount of rubbing, and the pages have scattered foxing throughout but remaining in strong readable condition.
