The author was a lieutenant-colonel at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and this book "is a simple, intensely practical account of his personal experience in dealing with religious doubts and difficulties of young people". C S Lewis' preface was later published as his essay “On the Transmission of Christianity” in God in the Dock.

Condition

The book is in good condition for age with some mottling to the cloth boards, the dustwrapper has some edgewear and grubby marking to the rear panel but is complete.
