Samuel Beckett's play in which two characters, Vladimir and Estragon, wait for the arrival of someone named Godot who never arrives, and while waiting they engage in a variety of discussions and encounter three other characters...

This is the first edition of French's Acting Edition, a publisher who specialised in theatre and play scripts. This copy also has a page for "Furniture and Property List" and a Lighting Plot, as well as the credits for the 1955 London production starring Peter Woodthorpe and Hugh Burden.

Condition

Good condition. The blue paper covers are a little tanned, and there is some weakening to the front joint (about 5cm to the lower part). However, it remains in good order. The contents are in very good condition, slight tanning but free from inscription and the inner binding secure.
