Here are nine first edition hardbacks by J B Priestley, all in the first printing in uniform blue cloth with gilt titling to spine.
Open House, A Book of Essays (1927). Light rubbing and foxing, previous owner's inscription to ffep. Otherwise in strong readable condition.
Angel Pavement (1930). A very good copy.
Faraway (1932). Some foxing to the page edges, otherwise a decent copy.
Wonder Hero (1933). Slight tanning and dusting to page edges, otherwise a good plus copy.
English Journey (1934). Light surface abrasions to the boards, otherwise very good. Subtitled "Being A Rambling But Truthful Account Of What One Man Saw And Heard And Felt And Thought During A Journey Through England During The Autumn Of The Year 1933" Published in conjunction with Gollancz.
Three Men in New Suits (1945). Light foxing and tanning to the wartime economy paper. PO inscription.
Bright Day (1946). A good solid copy.
Jenny Villiers, A Story of the Theatre (1947). Illustrated by Miss M Elaine Hancock. A good copy.
Delight (1949). A good copy, some light wear to front joint but remaining secure.
