Condition
Whilst these books remain in strong readable condition, the leather is quite scuffed and knocked. There is light tanning to the pages, and the first page of Homer's text to each volume has some pencil annotation in Greek, with inoffensive pencil marginalia appearing occasionally throughout the book. Previous owner's modern bookplate to both pastedowns and an earlier name in pen to each ffep.
