A semi-autobiographical novel from the author of Alfie. A small boy, Michael, is born in rural County Mayo where is family struggle to make a living on a small farm. His father moves to Lancashire in search of work and a better life and his family follow shortly afterwards. The novel then charts Michael's new life in Bolton, Lancashire, and his coming of age in this vastly different environment.
Condition
The book is in very good condition. The dustwrapper is very good too but with some light wear to the edges and some tanning to the spine. It has not been price-clipped.
