Printing Details
1936–1947. A collection of five hardback books by Clarence Henry Warren, an author and broadcaster on the English countryside. None have dustwrappers but all are the first printing.
1. A Cotswold Year (Geoffrey Bles, 1936). Red cloth hardback. A good solid copy, some age-toning to the pages.
2. A Boy in Kent (Hollis & Carter, 1937). Contents in very good order, sunning to the brown cloth boards.
3. The Land is Yours (Eyre & Spottiswoode, 1943). Illustrated by Thomas Hennell. A few spots of foxing to the spine but otherwise very good.
4. Miles from Anywhere (Eyre & Spottiswoode, 1944). Illustrated by Thomas Hennell. Light spotting to the endpapers but otherwise a good solid copy.
5. Adam was a Ploughman (Eyre & Spottiswoode, 1947). Illustrated by John Aldridge. Good condition, some light bumping.
Condition
All five books remain in strong readable condition, some with inoffensive previous owner's name, and age-toning due to the wartime economy paper used.
