Reprint (third edition, later printing). Two volumes, complete. Hardback, bound in half leather with cloth covered boards, gilt titling to spine. Top edge gilt. Each 27.5 × 20cm, xxv [4], 2672pp.

An attractively bound two volume copy of the Shorter Oxford English Dictionary (SOED), the respected abridgement of the the twenty-two volume Oxford English Dictionary. The text is printed in triple columns, with volume one covering A to M, and volume two being N to Z.

Condition

Both volumes are in very good condition, but with a small stain to the front board of volume two, and a little rubbing to the board's edges of volume one. The contents are on very clean condition. A heavy set at nearly 5kg.
