Illustrated throughout with photographs. The introduction discusses geographical distribution, evolution of the spireless tower, principles of tower design, windows really sound holes, defects of tower design, misuse of the word Belfry etc.
Condition
This copy is in very good condition. The book is a very clean copy with neat previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown. The dustwrapper has some light surface marking and has been neatly price-clipped but is now within a protective sleeve.
