An alphabetical guide to the body, health and treatments with occasional illustration. The author was a doctor who ran open air sanitoriums and specialised in treating phthisis (pulmonary tuberculosis). The book runs from Abdomen through to Zymotic Diseases via bed pans, ear wax, flatulence, lock-jaw and poisonings!
Condition
Generally good condition but both front and rear hinges are cracked open (though still attached). There is moderate spotted foxing to the prelims and the main body of text remains in strong readable condition.
