A scarce early issue of The Britannia Magazine, the journal for the Cadets at the Royal Naval College in Dartmouth. The magazine was founded in 1884, and at this time in its history was published three times a year (Easter, Midsummer, and Christmas). This magazine contains photographs, an editorial, sports and recreation, cartoon, letters from cadets etc, and with sports results for the season. This issue contains a cartoon frontispiece by a cadet for Arms for a Cadet Captain, house notes, cricket and tennis reports etc (with team photo). The last three pages of text are the names of the officers, masters and full list of cadets, with a group shot of the Duncan Term.

Condition

This copy is in good condition. There is some corner creasing and light wear to the covers but this issue remains in strong readable condition. Cadet's name to the front cover (Cadet Simons).
