A collection of maxims on matters military collected from the writings and saying of Napoleon, Frederick the Great, Wellington, Moltke, Clausewitz, etc with some on Asiatic Warfare from Lord Roberts and Colonel Younghusband. The author was Provost Marshal in Paris during the First World War.
Condition
Good condition for age but with some fading and marking to the covers, and the inner binding is a bit pulled (though no pages are loose).
