This title is the first single volume collection of Gurney's poetry, both from his Severn and Somme (1917) and War's Ember's (1919), but also from the mass of manuscript material he left at his death in 1937.
Condition
A good solid copy, ex-library but not offensively so. Stamps to copyright page and to the margins at the rear of the book but otherwise this copy is in strong readable condition.
