This copy's main feature is four contemporary artists: Katharina Fritsch with essays by Jessica Morgan (From Out There to Down There) and Jean-Pierre Criqui (The Dream is About You: Katharina Fritsch and the Laws of Animal Attraction). Annette Kelm with essays by Beatrix Ruf (Twisting and Turning) and Stefanie Kleefeld (Open Source). Kelley Walker with essays by Johanna Burton (Bringing it Back Alive!), artist Glenn Ligon (Kelley Walker’s Negro Problem), and Antek Walczak. Cerith Wyn Evans with essays by Michael Archer (Moon Turned a Fire Red), Jan Verwoert, and Pablo Lafuente.
The artist insert (a multi-page sequence of original content for the magazine) is by Allen Ruppersberg, the spine design by Josh Smith and further articles such as Marina Warner on the Transatlantic Cable; Richard Phillips on the Swiss painter Adolf Dietrich (1877–1957); and Philipp Kaiser examining the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Pictures Generation exhibition.
